V.I.N Locations?

On my dash were the v.i.n is normaly located, its not there and I was wondering if there is any other spots on the car to find one. Just to let everybody know that the engine is not original,so no correct info on it.Ive decoded the plackered on the door jam and all it tells me is were it came from,what color the car was and the interior color. No year it was manufactured, or any other info I would like having, so if you can help me that would be SUPER.

Mine is stamped on the drivers side, in the engine bay on the top where the fender mounts

I believe it's also located on the door jam info thing.

Is it visable without taking any thing off on the fender?

on a 69 you would have to remove the fenders to see the vin. the vin is stamped on the LH front apron & RH Rear Apron.

Your door tag should have the vin also. And your Title.
