i better not break a leg... i was a couple feet from one of my teammates when he got hit in the open ice and slid hard into the wall and broke his leg

bah, its hard to break legs, I hit the corner of a cinder block wall (roller hockey at an indoor skating rink) with my shin going at a pretty clip. just nailed the shit out of my shin.

everyone there, including the guy that checked me, was like OMG, call and ambulance, his legs gotta be broke... I crawled away from that with a huge bruise and a small lump on my shin. Ended up working the next day with no problem.

Actually I have found through personal experience that theater ppl don't take it too well when you tell them break a leg... even if you mean it politely as a good luck wish, b/c they apparently break legs more often than not. Well atleast that's what happens here at University of Evansville and we are well known for our theater program (I'm not a part of it).
