It looks like $2,099 each but I have a place to get both in a set for $500. The guy is fucked financially and is dumping everything. He has been using them since August.

my uncle has his whole basement full of their stuff and it sounds amazing the only problem is at super high volume if you have something like a jet fly by or gun shots in a movie it hums a little bit, but you have to have your system cranked they are well worth what you pay

Are you kidding me? 28-20kHz and you're saying it could be better?!!? Considering, you can't get below 25Hz w/out having a HUGE subwoofer cabinet, I think 28-20kHz is pretty damn amazing. Also, ~98% of all sounds are above 30Hz, so you're not missing much/anything if you don't get down to 20Hz (which, no in home system will reach unless you're designing a room around the system).

JA, considering you won't need a seperate subwoofer (this should make the wife happy) from these floor speakers (there's on built it), I would say are good (at least on paper). Sensitivity is pretty good and the frequency response really is good. If you can listen to them it would be even better b/c speakers can look good on paper but not sound how one likes them when they listen to them. I would say they are worth $500 for a set!!
