People seem to hate Vista, but I like it.

Im a huge Vista fan. I know alot of others arent simply because when I send emails to peeps, I get "I cant open the attachement" back from them. Ive learned to just save everything in 97-03 format.

But anyway, I may be alone with this but I absolutely love Vista. I took me a few days to get used to but now it makes sense.

XP FTMFW! I hate vista. It's fine at first but then leads to trouble. Plus vista is a resource hog!

all new computers come with vista. you would have to then wipe the harddrive and load xp on it yourself.

Since I'm a networking guy I say XP, but if you are using it just for daily, normal & personal use then there is no problem with vista.

XP. More patches and fixes for it as it has been out longer, but I never used Vista, probably won't. Go mess around on the computers at BB or CC and see if you like Vista.

I have used vista and i think that it has some sweet features, you just have to get used to it, but then again thats what people say to mac's and i can't stand them.

i got stuck with vista on my new laptop. its a resource hogging annoying pile of trash. it was meant to be idiot proof. all of the things that are a click away in xp are about 300 clicks away in vista. if your running a home network currently and its originated in xp have fun getting your vista laptop on the network. i had to download and instal a hotfix from microsoft to instal on every xp machine just to make my laptop work on the network. i spent 3 days tweaking settings and adjusting shit on this laptop to make it stop treating me like a 3 year old. if it wasnt for the 64bit processor i have i would have switched to xp long time ago. i have gotten used to it now i guess but i still have issues with alot of programs not being 64bit compatiable

most computers run slow with vista because of the garbageware every manufacturer puts on it.

Welcome | The PC Decrapifier

best peice of software for out of the box systems. and yes vista will always use 50% of your resources because its keeping things in memory to load them faster as opposed to always. vista is too slow? buy some freaking RAM. newegg has a system selector so you cant screw it up. and its cheap as dirt. Ive never had as big of problems with my vista installs as i have my xp ones. Vista spoiled me. it's easier to do things. and best of all. it stops stupid people from screwing up their pc. the only time ive fixed a vista computer it was a hardware issue, never software. on a side note some netbooks (laptops with under 10 inch screens used just for internet and email) will ship with xp home edition.
