Im buying a iphone tomorrow from the apple store. Im getting the black 8GB for $200.

I already have a 2 year contract.

Is there an activation price or is it included in the bill?

I dont remember. I think they said 25.00. But like I said they waived mine.. Ask them to wave yours.. Trust me they want you buisness.

yes..... my phone was 230 out the door with a case, and my next bill was an extra 50 for the upgrade fee and augmented services for half the month

I never liked Apple products, but I'm happy as a pig in shit with my iPhone. I bought one for the girlfriend too. She was all about the blackberry, but now that she's got an iPhone, she too is happy with it.

It depends on how long ago you signed your current 2 year contract.

Are you eligible for an upgrade at this time ? I have AT&T and I wanted to buy the new Iphone but Since I signed my contract in February(08) I am not eligible for an upgrade until next year I have to pay extra, and it was 200 dollars extra so I said fuck it because that's is absolutely ridiculous! New customers get everything for 200 bucks but a fucking old reliable customer that has paid all the bills on time has to pay more.

But if you ARE eligible for an upgrade at this time the fee is something like 25 dollars or something non-ridiculous. You can check on AT&T.com to see if you are eligible for an upgrade at this time.

Then you are set it shouldn't cost much more than the cost of the phone for you to be using it in no time.
