need input

wife gave me a 300 gift cert to Jegs. what should i get. i need a clutch, and a flywheel. i know that 300 bones nowhere near covers those things. maybe the clutch. but, since i was planning on getting those things anyway, should i get some other stuff for the stang?

what do you guys think?

it's got a ton of susp. stuff done. alluminum d/s, 3.73's, H/C/I, cold air, only accessory left is the power steering, blah blah. it needs a flywheel more than anything. except a tune up and for me to get back under it and tighten up the exhaust.

i think you just answered your question. what clutch do you use? i like SPEC myself but i don't think jegs carries them

it's got a king cobra in it now. i didn't put it in. it was in there when i bought the car. it's said to have about 5k miles on it. but you never know. and i think you're right, stangfreak. i should just get a flywheel. i'm not getting alluminum though. i don't wanna spend the extra cash. (mostly cause i don't have it)

i've had a king cobra and it wasn't bad. you can get one for $210 and the flywheel is probably $150

there's a cast iron one for 99 bucks on jegs.com

the billet steel is like 250

this is the only ford racing flywheel listed but it says it's for a c4. it's a 157 tooth
