Itunes new rates-Just on the news....$1.29, .99 and .69 for oldies per download. I don't know if it's in place now or tomorrow.

DRM = digital rights management...In simple terms its basically a way of protecting a song/movie from being copied

Basically DRM stagnates innovation, as it makes it so that the distributor can actually sue you for using something you paid for in a way that's unexpected to them. They've gone so far as to try and make it illegal for you to rip music off of CDs that you've full-on legally purchased to play on your mp3 player, and instead that you would have to buy the CD *and* the respective mp3s.
