Now I can't even open my other thread.
And I think it's because it says something about the program. I try to open the thread and the webpage just closes itself.

use your ctrl+alt+delete menu to find the process running it, right click and "end process tree".
download AVG free edition. Stop downloading malware.

If a pop up message keeps coming up, there's some process running causing it to do this. Bring up your end task menu (ctrl+alt+delete) and watch and see what process comes up when that pop up occurs. End those processes. Click on the start menu and do a search for that file name, it's probably some .exe file. Search your whole computer. When you find it, delete the entire folder it is in. This should remove the whole program if it is malfunctioning.
You can also try just deleting through your add/delete programs menu in the control panel of the Start Menu.

Add/Remove doesnt work. I've tried deleting the whole folder but it says it cant be deleted because the program is in use. It's called system security and it has a little icon open in the bottom right of my computer where the time is, but I cant right click on the icon to close it.

press ctrl+alt+delete
click on the "processes" tab find whatever programs/processes that are running that may sound like they belong to it. Click on them and then press "end process". Rinse repeat. All else fails, go to your startup menu and remove it from programs that begin running on startup. Then restart your computer and nuke it while it's not running.

goin to bed in a minute here. I had to recheck the quickest way to change your startup programs.
Click "Start" Click "Run" Type "msconfig" , Enter Click "Startup" tab Uncheck that program which won't turn off/delete Click "apply" Restart computer. Hose the bitch.

Never does.
That's there for newbs to think they can have some control over their system. Stop using Windows.

that was the simplest I could come up with until I remembered where the heck the startup programs were listed.oh, and again, please please please download AVG Free Edition, it's a lifesaver. It's free, it works, its updated regularly, and I haven't had a single issue since.
