Fuck that. My camera has a 1gb card and I got like 56 pictures on it and its still got a shit ton of memory left

last time i checked photgraphers work longer then 90 minutes..... there's the pre wedding pictures, the actual wedding, and then the reception

What would happen if i inserted it into my card reader, and used the "speed up my computer" option?

the sd card would first have to have the option to do that and all sd cards don't have that. it is also mainly usb flash drives that have that.

Oh no doubt. 1 pic a second would be some pretty random pictures.

Thats 1 pic a minute, for 83 hours.

I think its limited to how much you speed up the computer...You wont be able to speed it up using the full 2tb

No it can't be 2TB of ram due to the fact that the OS isn't made to support that much ram in the first place. I forget exactly what the ram specs. are, but i think the lowest version of the 32bit vista only allows up to 4GB of ram and the 64bits go up to 128GB ram (? not sure)

its 3gb for 32 bit and i think they upped the 64bit. i read somewhere that it can support lot more than that, but don't know if it was vista or not.

only 3gb for the 32bit? well that sucks

I havn't really paid attention to vista as it sucks...but windows 7 should be out soon to replace that piece of shit OS

i just researched a bit and it recognizes the 4gb of ram but it only uses 3gb. that 1gb is only used for graphics and not for processing speed.

i don't think the pictures will ever be so big that would be like its just a 2gb card.

It's one of the ways MS cripples the lesser versions of their OS. All versions of Vista are capable of recognizing the same number of processors and amount of RAM, but the lower versions basically just have a software limitation.

Exactly. When you're taking picutres at 1024x768 res, they don't take up much space. With multiple terrabytes available for cheap, you'll be able to take very high resolution photographs and not have to worry about compressing them into a lossy format like jpegs.
