Ok so just put out, 400, for books only 3 of them lol....

Yeah ok not bad, ok now I have to buy a parking pass 120.00.......yeah ok whatever I guess

They charged me FOUR times 480.00!!!!!

Now they cant release it for 48 hours wtf!????

What if that was all my money and I was done for, or they overdrew my account

that sucks man! I had one semester where I bought all my books for my classes, only 4 books total and it was about 550. Get to my classes and find out there are 2 supplemental books I will NEED. The one was only 75, the other was 300!!! Thankfully they were actually useful books and I've hung on to them, one is sitting next to me right now at work.

Good luck with those robbing bastards, should probably be able to go complain to someone and get something out of this deal, they're tying up over a thousand dollars of your money because of their foul up.

You're telling me......my book total was almost the same total for my tuition.

What sucks even more is that half my classes require the serial code in the book to take online tests......which of course means I can't sell the bitch back.

I seriously can't wait till I'm done with school, what a fucking scam.

I know right! I only have 100.00 in my account right now thanks to this..

Maybe if I raise some hell they'll lower the price for my pass =P

Dang no doubt, last semester I bought 2 books I didnt even need!!

My dumb teacher was like o yeah you dont need those books..... (cough bitch cough) she got fired that semester as well for varies reasons.

good way to save money, get to school a couple days before school starts, scope out the bookstore and get the prices for all your books. Get on amazon, track down those books and find out if you'll save any money. I usually found about half (when accounting for shipping) where amazon was cheaper. Then at the end of the semester they usually have a book buyback special, I actually managed to make money off one of my books! Was a 120 calc book I bought on amazon for 45, bookstore bought it back for 60.

That was my plan! But it didnt work that way and good thing I didnt considering ALL my classes changed at the LAST second thanks to my advisor

Next semester shit WILL be in order tho

Gotta use amazon or some shit for books!! My friends would spend $600 buck and Id get everythin for $200. The books for sale are from kids that never used em anyway so they are brand new usually.

Ha... With my first degree, my last semester I had (Literally because all the new editions just came out. No buying used) to spend just over $1200 on books alone.... Stupid technical courses.

Honestly there isn't any way to avoid it. I don't think its a scam either. If the books cost that much, its for a reason. They're good.

I agree with Animal Crackers though. Scope out what books you need and hit up Amazon. You can save yourself some money. I saved about $500 the semester I spent over $1200 on. At the college book store it would have been closer to $1700....

I've already bought that book, I bought it over a year ago. Keep that in mind with those prices, I bought that book A YEAR AGO, and it's still over 175$
