actually works. ive lost 10 lbs since christmas playin that thing. it probly also has a lot to do with me eating better too. less fast food more goin to the girlfriends house for dinner

yeah i got one this weekend and used it last night and am sore today... pretty awesome. they have games too that are "fitness" games. i have bad balance though, my "trainer" tells me i'm shaky lol.

no shit people are losing weight on it? ive never played it, some fat chick at my work was like "im so sore from playing wii fit yesterday" and my ignorant ass boss was like "those years of not excersizing are catching up to you" hahahahah godfuckingdam

yea dude. i didnt think it would work either but my legs feel like jello right now. its really fun too. i always make my girlfriend play hula hoops or do the yoga thing where she bends over... she gets mad lol

I think its kindof sad that it takes a video game to get people to lose weight. 250 for the console and 130 for the starter kit. You could use that money to buy some decent workout equipment or something. Just me ranting lol

Okay I'll break that down for ya...

I bought a Wii for the games. The whole family plays it. Bowling, etc. $250 but worth it.

Then I got the Wii Fit. $80. I enjoy yoga and pilates and it offers that. With my work schedule the only classes at a gym I can fit in are on weekends and I want to do it more than once a week, therefore it's basically an interactive DVD. I'm in control of how long, how much, etc. There's also aerobics classes too.

I have a home gym here as well as an elliptical. Just because I use the Fit also doesn't mean it's the only means of weight loss.

Besides, I'd rather see someone having to use a video game and actually losing weight and getting in shape than sitting around doing nothing.

Tell her to open it up! My mom had major back surgery and can't move around a lot but even she enjoys it. You'll enjoy watching her hula hoop lol.
