Recycle value

anyone know how much the recycle value is of catalytic converters? I was told its like $20 each on a Mustang.

I just looked online at a few local places. Some are showing "general pricing". Looks like about 15 -20 bucks for a medium sized domestic cat. I also have 2 old computers in pieces in the garage. I think Im going to get all this shit together tomorrow and take it over. I even have an old tent that is made from aluminum. The frame is pretty big. Im taking that shit too.

who are you guys selling to? sell direct, that's what the people do that you're selling it to if you're not selling direct. the materials used in the cats should be worth more than $20

could probably go to some kind of metal recycler or scrap yard type place. I don't know where'd you go to sell directly, unless there's some kind of metal working smelter near you?

Cats should be worth a fair chunk, the precious metals in them alone are incentive enough to get them stolen from underneath a car.
