Nice! Jake has a $600 BMX in the garage he never even uses anymore. Shit, the seat was $60 because it had freaking flames on it.
I went out before Xmas and bought myself a serious nerd bike. Its a big ass red Schwinn with crome fenders and the old fashioned kind of brakes. Its got huge tires with white walls! The kids in the hood here think thats back in style. I would have given a kidney when I was younger to have a BMX like the one in your pic.

haha you got an old mans bike lol. your gangsta haha, yea i had a huffy like this one when i was in junior high, except it was silver with blue accents, and it was awesome. tiny ass pegs too. But im hoping to save some money on gas by riding to work, so we'll see how that goes. And it was my teacher that found it, while we were having class and just put it up on the projector too lol

Thats cool as hell. Save a little gas and get in shape. Ya, I bought that bike because my daughter wanted the same one in a girls version. I just got them at Target on sale. But hell ya, the seat is like a freakin recliner man! Its real easy on my ass! Im 34 man, I need the butt support and Ive already reached the age of "fuck this, I dont care what the neighbors think anymore"....which also explains why I dont get dressed before going out to get my paper either.

Nice find on the bike though. I bet its worth way more than 100 bucks.

I used to race in the NBL and went to the NBL Grands in Louisville, KY, when I was in my younger teens. I had (before GT sold out) a GT Power Series bike, Answer forks, 175mm 3-piece cranks, Shimano 545 clipless, Sun Ringle cr18 wheels with Maxxis rubber, and the whole deal. 18 lbs and a few ounces and that shit was a blast. I got more into MTB after that and now I do a little MTB on the side.

yea the bike is worth i guess like 2-300 bucks, and the guy i went with is really into biking. Hes got a bunch and he fixes some up, does custom builds and all that shit. its in pretty good shape, minus some dings and scratches on the frame, but for 100 bucks, and im back to a beginner so if i know ill drop it a bunch.

I originally wanted a haro, cuz back in the day that was all the talk, and redline and schwinn and some others, but i guess there not as good anymore. So dude said these bikes were really good, so we'll see.

Specialized makes 200-400 dollar FRAMES. yes, it is a good buy. you got a bike for 1/3 of a new frame cost.

I ran 45/16 on short tracks and a 45/14 on the longer/more downhill tracks like Tanglewood/NC. Damn, I loved building my bike and racing it!

Damn there's a lot of BMXers! I had a FIT frame with Shadow Conspiracy everything else (all of which is for sale) I ran trail with the mountain bike club here in town. I miss that sh*t so much. I threw out my shoulder lifting weights and after the surgery it hasn't healed correctly so I've been out of the game for a while.
