why the car makers are not putting a ton of pressure on the government to get rid of that bullshit diesel tax so ford,gm,etc could bring cars here that run on clean diesel

I've read and I cannot remember where, but Ford quality has gone way up as the manufacturer took things very seriously. Probably when they got the restructuring loan. The 2010 Fusion should be an excellant vehicle along with Focus. Focus was being built in Mexico but that changed and is now being built in MI. One of these will get 39 miles per gallon! Possibly the Hybrid Fusion

I don't own either of those two models, but my used 08 Escape is a work horse. : ) I seriously was going to get a Honda for a dd, but glad I got the truck for the nasty Chicago winters. It is surviving the pot holes too.

I think that the new CEO can turn FORD around and make it a great successful company. He's already done it once, for Boeing.. and ford is coming around.
