Looks like Obama may end the HP wars with the push for cars with 35 MPG and above in '11. We may not see the 5.0 in '11. Get your GT500, STR8 or Camaro SS now to get that stock 400 + HP.

I think we have a few more years before we have to worry about him killing the V8..... That new 5.0 comming out is supposed to get the same gas mileage the current 4.6's get and with better emissions. So, unless he is specifically hunting V8's with some really fast legislation, I think we are ok for a while yet.

I was under the impression that he wanted to make sure the MPG Ave per vehicle fleet was increased to 35.
