this moron i work with just tried tellin me his auto awd volvo sd6 will have less drivetrain loss than my car because it doesnt have a clutch... i was hopin hed add that the power is 24/7 fukker, but he didnt

Posted that from my phone while I was out at a meeting downtown, I knew the guy was a moron, but holy fuck was he stupid about that crap. He just got that new car fairly recently and was talking to me about mine saying how I'd take him in a drag but he'd take me in the curves because his is a rally car. I didn't know a thing about his car so asked what kind of power and torque he had, he said somethin like 320hp and 300tq. I replied with "but that's all at the crank, what's it got to the wheels? I'll be losing a lot less of my power to the wheels in a manual RWD than you in a volvo AWD, even with my current stock suspension I'd be able to fly by in the straights, and do decent in the turns. Put my new suspension on and my 20" low wall tires, I should be carving a lot quicker." That's when he made his dumb comment about me having a clutch and losing hp there compared to his "new technology" transmission that distributes power 70-30 blah blah. I was stunned...oh well.
