Does this bid history look suspicious to you?

Here is the bid history for an item that I'm trying to pick up on ebay.

Look suspicious? Maybe someone has multiple accounts and is bidding on his own listing???

I hope that's not the case and I'm not about to get screwed...

Bidder Bid Amount

i***6( 119) US $71.50

a***6( 283) US $70.50

1***a( 52) US $63.00

Starting Price US $50.00

Better to be informed than fucked. I dont like ebay anymore. I dont even like internet shopping much. There are scammers everywhere and unless you are really on top of things, its real easy to get ripped off. Just do a search here over the last few months and you'll see a tremendous amount of stories of fraud and theft over the internet.

Thats normal... It just means the first guy made a bigger offer than the second guys bid. Look at some other auctions for big stuff, they will be the same way...

Well, I won the auction.

Here's what I got...

Shelby Floor Mats: Interior &amp Floor Mats - Shelby Performance Parts LLC.

Between the mats, dash and fuse box plaques, and new dash vents I don't have any $ left over for the Hurst. Looks like another month of waiting...

I always snipe bid... Lets say I was buying a new procharger and the bid was 1700 with a minute left. I would wait till about 30 seconds left and put a bid for the most I would pay, like 2k... If your bid is more than that i wouldnt have won it anyways. But when you put a max dollar at the get go your just driving the price up, cause someone will come along and keep bidding till they are over you max dollar, then you have to beat their bid to win. Where as you let someone else put in their bid and you wait till the end and they wont have a chance to outbid you and make you bid more to beat them... Its not very nice, but it gets the job done.

I do the same but set it to place my max bid at 3 seconds before the auction ends. It keeps you from driving up the price or letting emotions take over & end up paying more than you really wanted to.

The only time I plunk down a max bid on an auction is if I am only interested in it if I can get it cheap. So if someone out bids me, oh well I didn't want it that bad.

Definitely will do. The interior should look a little different in a week. The trunk mat was available in a separate auction and it didn't sell so I offered him an extra $20 and he took it. The total price ended up being $121 shipped which sounds high, but they still look new and the mats are around $260 shipped from Shelby Performance.

Wes gave me one for a extra few dollars so I bought a combo just like you did. I just bought it to put up in case I ever sold the car (my current plaque has my name on it). Little did I know that it was going to look nicer than the one I already have.

It was in the pics that I sent to your email. The logo is the same as the fuse box cover.
