Yeah its nice living here. Great weather at least 355 days out of the year. You're going to be terribly bored in Greenville. The closest drag strip to you in in Greer.

Na it wont even be like that man. Me and my best friend and the car group we were in used to go to Greer raceway and Ware Shoals dragway on a regular basis almost. I had my very first stang back then- 86 5.0 I miss that car alot. Its always nice when one of my friends out here lets me take their fox for a spin so I can take a stroll down memory lane lol! |

don't know about the termi's but the spec 3+ seems to be the standard for the s197. our cars are just to heavy to go with the 2+ even if you have less hp. very few seem to have any luck with the lower levels with spec. the 3+ is golden though from anyone i've heard that used it. have a friend that had the 3+ in his pullied termi and he loved it.

That makes it hard for me to make a decision. Cause I really wanna go with Spec. But I just called my tuner and he said go with centerforce for the termi's. Which clutch has less pedal effort? less of stiffness in the clutch pedal. I think its spec but im not sure. |

I personally like the stiffness of the clutch pedal...it reminds me that I have an aftermarket clutch that can withstand over 1000ft/lbs of torque

i drove his termi and didn't think the spec was bad at all. of course i have one of the stiffer stock s197 clutches i've ever felt, but for a termi with a 3+ i thought it was fine. not killer. i also don't have anything to compare it to since i hadn't driven anything else like that.

awe come on. i'm fixing to do my own heads, cams, clutch, and install nitrous.
i think you can do your clutch again. besides once you've done it the first time the second time goes twice as fast |

it's all about reading, following the directions, and torque specs man. putting it back together in the right sequence and double checking yourself. i don't like anyone helping me when i'm torqueing anything important. that can be disasterous. it's really all nuts and bolts man.
my sister-in-law rebuilt her jeep engine by only buying a haynes book, a chiltons book, and the parts needed from o'reily auto parts. she'd never done anything other than change her own oil and help with doing her clutch. the only help she got was actually pulling the engine itself out out the jeep. |
