So I found a place that looks halfway decent and is in a good part of town. They're askin $425 a month. Obviously it's just an apartment, but it's 2 bed, 1 1/2 bath which is more than enough for just me and possibly my girlfriend.

I'm gonna have to get a second job to make it work, but I think this is gonna be my route. Just gotta see if they'll take a kid with 0 credit to his name or if I have to get my grandmother to cosign for me....

if so ur gonna need a cosigner, but if it's joe Shmoe from idaho living in his house, u might be able to get away with proof of employment, a current pay stub, and some personal references

so not true at all

at 18 my friends had there own 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment with no credit. i moved in 6 months later.

all it takes is money. if it's a complex he's fucked though, and will need a cosigner

It's in between I guess. It's somewhat of a complex, but it's owned by a realty company.

Looks like I'll need a cosigner. I'll try to get a job at Oreilly's seeing as how I'm a regular, know my way around a car, and work at Pap John's which is right next door.


Also, everything is cheaper here. We get paid less than most of you guys.

Good Luck dude and remember to always read the fine print and look for promotions. My complex has a huge sign that offers last month rent free if ur on time with the first 11 payments of the year on your first lease, but doesn't actually put it in the lease.

$6.55 here...

I only make $8.00 an hour and work about 33 hours on average a week because my college schedule keeps me from working much more with the way we schedule around the rushes.

I get paid by the week. With an extra job I can cut it.

I have funds in the bank that I don't want to tap, but looks like I'll have to for this. I have to pay for college some how.

In the next few days, I will be looking for a trustworthy roommate if possible. If I get a roommate I can trust it'll be fine.

Also, with just my one job right now I'm making $830 a month after taxes. If I take out $425, I'd have $405 left. I can't see myself using more than $100 in utility costs and I can find food for cheap.

WIth a second job I could bring in like an extra $100 a week or something.


I have to more out of here by Septmeber 15, my birthday, no questions asked my parents said, so I'm gonna do them a favor and get the fuck out of here as soon as possible.

stay away from people you just met, and unfortunetly, good friends and coworkers.

it takes 2 strong willed people to share a space, and swords will cross every now and then. U need to be, and your potential room mate has to be someone who's not afraid to speak there mind, but willing to listen, and hug it out when all is said and done.
