You could just take the phone to AT&T for the most current offical update. Sprint really sucks about updates...they are still running 4.3.0.127 on the curve 8330.

Im in the proscess of udating my curve now. I guess the new software includes a video recorder wich I dont know why these phones didnt come wiht them in the first place.

yea 4.5 comes with video recording, the ability to stream youtube and shit like that. its a good update i liked it before i fried my curve. also it ups the limit on the micro sd card it supports from 4 to 16 i belive. the 8900 curve that im ordering on the 11th when it comes out is going to be like heaven in a box.

no it will work it just supports up to 16 gb now not just 4. the 8900 im getting supports up to 32gb which is just crazy.
