Canon rebel 350D (XT) or Nikon d40?

I was partial to Canon before I bought an SLR...I found a good deal on the Nikon so I went down that road...now that I have 2 lenses, I'll most likely stick with Nikon.

That is a decent price...but what is a Didgital rebel? lol. I'd offer him 300 for it. When you do look at it, take a very close look at the mirror (the part inside the body) and the lens on both sides.

Dude, YES if it is legit...that is the camera you should buy! NOt a fan of the gold coloring, but you will be much happier with the d60.

It is...the d60 typically goes for around 550-650. Again, examine it very closely...take a picture with it, and have them either view it on the computer or print the image. As with all imaging equipment (tvs, cameras, camcorders etc) there is a possiblitly of having dead pixels. Real easy way to see dead pixels...leave the lens cap on, put the camera in manual mode (on camera and also lens) then take a picture...view it on the computer and look for white dots.
