I am seriously considering getting either the new mustang 2010 or the new camaro 2010.. Or keep my car. My car is paid off and has 52k miles and is an auto... I want something that is nice but also has "some" power to start with. So if u were in my situation what would you do?.. I am also about to buy tires for my car. And that kinda depends on what i decide... because If i am getting rid of my car i am going to put some cheap tires on there. but if im keeping it I am going to buy some good tires.

well you can get a used gt500 for around the same price
or you could wait for the bigger motor next year

Yeah but how much is the Camaro SS going to be? I don't want the sixxer.. even though it does have more hp then my v8 :[. I don't want 500$ a month car payment either lol.

Your not going to be able to pick up any of the suggested above without a $500 car payment ( and insurance ontop of that is going to be a bit as well ).

i know of a gt500 for 38k right now(saw a week ago) only about 1000 miles on it

How so? I have went on ford.com and built a mustang gt and with my trade in. say they give me like 7500 the payments are 340ish. Oh btw that is financing for 72months :/

personally, id go off of what you can afford, you dont wanna be in debt and paying a big payment each month, if its out of your limit then look at something other options

Is that including insurance and prem.? I bought my 06 GT used with 6k on the clock for 26k and put down 5k on it and my payments were over 500.

Edit- I didnt see the 72 months financing... The only way I would do that is if you get 0% for the entire term otherwise your going to pay just under 40k for that 25k car.

Oh and insurance is about 100$ a month on a 2009 mustang gt for me.. so it should be around the same for a 2010 mustang gt I would think. I went and got a quote on that the other day.

They might as they are hurting to sell cars right now, but I wouldnt count on it for the whole term and certainly wouldnt anticipate it on a 72 month loan.

Its shoudlnt be a huge leap between the two estimates as there should only be about 5 or 6k difference in pricing... But it will be a little bit more than the 09.

By an 05-06 Saleen. An 06 EXTREME, yes 550hp, built motor, tr6060, 4:10 gears, with only 11k miles just sold for 39k...you can find a supercharged one with 20k miles or so for like 30k...look around

sorry, but if you really want to know i'd wait 2 years to buy only in those 2 years i would be acting like i was buying a car and be putting 400 a month into an account for the down payment. that way in 2 years you'll have over 10 grand after you figure in a little interest paid to you. on top of the 10 grand you would have your car as a trade which figure by then 6 grand, but i'd sell it first rather than trading it. you'll get more out of it. by then you will also have the option of getting a very low mileage 2010 GT or getting a new 2011. also you will see what ford is going to have for 2012
