Duh! I'm about 11 days into the headcold from hell and just starting to feel alittle better today.

This is day 4 for me. Worst I've had it in forever...cannot recall a cold this bad.

Is the neti pot where you pour water up your nose?

cleans our your sinuses. gets all the allergens, snot, etc out.

it takes a little getting used to, but it does help. my wife does it everyday and hasn't been sick in over a year.

i normally get a HUGE sinus infection that takes a couple of weeks to get over. I felt this one coming on and starting using my NP, and it is gone. it's only been 2 days. so i am a believer now and will be doing it everyday.

i was sick from the first week of january up until this past Monday. I had bronchitis, felt better went out all weekend, didn't wear a jacket when it was cold...bang walking pneumonia lol. I'm finally better

There's something going around the Houston area they're describing as an "upper respiratory flu". Everyone in my office has it. Starts out as a sore throat, then goes to your sinuses, then goes down into the lower part of your throat. I've had it for a week but am on the upturn.
