Blower whine

how do you make the blower whine louder or quieter, is it just the size of the pulley or what?
but that effects the psi too so is there anyway you can get it louder without affecting the psi?

That was a kenne bell super charger. what kind do you have? And I do think higher psi will be louder. If you dont want to change the psi get one of these

Not really. If you change pulleys its gonna increase the PSI if you go smaller. If you get the blower ported it will also change the pitch of the whine wich will also change PSI.

Each blower whines a bit different too. A KB has a really high pitched whine. Normally the more PSI the more its gonna whine

Why wouldnt you wanna have more PSI? lol you just want more whine but the same PSI?

As said before.. Its not the boost number that makes a blower whine. The speed its rotating at and the actual design of the blower are what make a blower whine like it does.

the scream or whine is are being compressed and flowing through the blower. sure some of the noise is from the blower operating parts itself but mainly from the air being forced through. so either way, yes the smaller pulley you go the faster your spin the blower (more blower noise) and the more boost you make (air noise) so in turn will make more noise.

you really need to be cranking a blower pretty hard to really get a violent scream and your not going to be able to safely do that on a GT bottom end.
