Should I sell or trade?

I'm looking to sell my Mustang to get a Ford Fusion AWD. Now my question is, should I try to sell it and get more money, or do I just trade it in and get what I can?

I have a 2004 GT vert in Competition Orange. It has the Mach 1000, dark charcoal leather interior, black top, polished rims and traction control. They only made 6,400 Mustangs in comp orange and only a few of them are GT convertibles. Because of this, do I stand a better chance of selling it privately?

def sell trading is always a last resort.

best thing to do is sell it,cuz the dealer is gonna try and give you as little as possible so they can sell it for as much as possible and make more money off of it.

but if you sell it you gotta be the salesman, when advertising it let them know its one of only 6400 and stuff like that will help you bring in more money for it.

If I do sell it, I should wait till spring. Convertibles sell best in warm weather.

Nothing at all, but my wife and I are expecting and I can do with one less bill. Plus right now we Have a 2005 VW bug, The Mustang and my company car (2007 Honda Accord). But the wife isn't allowed to drive the Honda since my works insurance won't allow it. So we will need a nice 4-door soon.

I think you will find a lot of people who'd die to have your car, but the problem is they're gonna be deterred from buying a gas guzzler right now so you could go either way as far as selling it from your street corner or taking to a dealership as a trade. That is one nice car though and the comp. orange is one of the best mustang colors IMO, specially on a vert. Who's that in your pic? ...'cause that picture definitely is one hell of an eyecatcher, lol.

I don't know her name, it was one of three models that a photographer used when he took pics of the car for a calendar he was shooting.

haha oh, though it mighta been your wife in the pic. I'd use it to sell the car in your local paper though - I bet your phone would ring off the hook, lol.
