Finally drove stick shift

I don't know if anyone cares but today was the first time I got to drive a stick shift car. My friend just randomly asked if I wanted to go for a cruise after school and then I get to his house and said I could drive. He has a VW GTI 1.8t with some work done to it, it has about 240hp to the wheels, it is pretty quick and I had tons of fun driving it. I failed once and stalled after we picked up 2 of our other friends, I didn't realize how much the extra weight would affect getting the car rolling. All I can say is that I have to get rid of my mountaineer and get a mustang because driving a stick shift car is fun as hell.

Congratulations!!! Hahaha and once you learn you never ever forget. Just the "stopping on a hill" thing comes back to haunt you. After a few months it no longer was a problem but in the beginning....TERROR as I glanced in my rear view mirror thinking, "Oh Man, I hope you give me room to do this!" LOL
