So, let me get this straight. He wants to become a LEO and wants to clean up parts of his past.




Regardless if he is innocent/guilty/whatever, a few weeks ago (probably not anymore) he could have:

1. Done nothing, never PMed anyone, never brought attention of the issue to newer members, let the evidence of the issue become buried in the bowels of The Clubhouse, thus limiting the risk of this information ever being found by a concerned party/future employer

2. Swallow pride, apologize, pay $110, and get everything deleted/smoothed over

3. Start an argument online over the old issue and make it an even bigger issue, then decide to pay $1000+ to an attorney to go over everything, ultimately involving the judicial system (thus going on some sort of official record) and ultimately attracting even more MM/public forum attention to the issue, as well as legal/official attention
