So I've now decided to keep the GT even after college and just get another vehicle for a DD.

I figure it'd be cheaper to build the GT instead of buying (what I wanted) a Termi and putting some stuff into it.

With the new TrickFlow heads coming out I think it'd actually be pretty nice to have a fully built 2V runnin around.

MMR 900 block low compression, Trickflow heads, KB 2.1, blower cams, and all supporting mods such as full suspension, rear end, and transmission (only after the T3650 gives out), slicks for track use and some DRs for street.

No giggle gas for me, but I think that that set up would be more than enough car for me for a very long time.

All in all, if I do all my own work, I figure it'd cost me about $12,000 give or take a few grand.

Obviously, suspension and rear end will be first.

Remember that after college and everything, I won't or at least hope I won't, have a child yet, I'll be living in a place with a friend of mine sharing mortgage and all, and just doing my thing making a nice amount of cash.

It'd be a long build (over a year two), but all in all I think it'd be nice to have a car liek this for a weekend show/strip car.
