I am thinking something was/is wrong with this car...seems like too good of a deal

I don't think it's too good to be true. $6,400 obo is probably on the high end for a car that is really nothing special. Just a few bolt-ons, nice paint and wheels, and low miles.

yeah if that car is too good to be true than mine is like winning the lottery. it is carburated, and really only has a decent paint job. i think its about 2500 over what its worth. its said to see a car like that for sale only 1k cheaper than i am asking for mine that is 10 years newer and 3 times the amount of money invested

He has a "Buy It Now" price for $5,900
These unmolested foxbody's are getting harder to find and everyone I talk to now are wanting notch backs. Maybe it is in the proper price range but I figured it would be more around the $7k range

I have to agree with Timbo Slice. I would much rather have his car than that hideous thing. Don't get me wrong, I love foxes, and especially notches, but that car is not that nice. I sat $4500 tops

as clean as your car is, wait i just thought you were asking 4500 for yours. Well anymore than 5 for yours is asking too much, yes it is super clean but its not a original 5.0 either. That would be like someone making a 03 cobra out of a v6 and trying to sell it for as much as a 03 cobra.

I like asking too much...it leaves room for negotiation. And in the ad I have I said if people are thinking of offering anything LESS than $4,500 they need not e-mail me.

from what i have learned now about asking too much, in the market the way it is right now. Is that it just makes people skip over your ad and you lose out and any potential buyers. but thats just me in my situation. I swear if someone would show up with a car trailer and 7k cash they could just tow my car away damnit

Are you desperate to sell it...meaning do you need the cash really bad?
The reason I ask is because if you hang on to it long enough there will be a buyer willing to pay what you are asking or very close. The people who really get screwed are the ones that need to do a quick sale and lose their ass in the deal

i don't need to cash, if it doesn't sell before i buy a house then i will be putting a really really big shot of nitrous on her, i want to get rid of it before i spend more money on it, thats the problem. For me to have fun with it i will have to spend about another 4-5k on it, of course it will run 9's then but i just don't want to spend that money on it.

To be honest my initial starting price on my car would be $5,500 obo
That being said...there is an "obo" after the numbers so I wouldnt expect to get that amount but who knows...maybe there is someone else out there that thinks its worth that much (other than me...but who doesnt think there car is worth a little more than what they actually sell it for)

Not a bad car but not worth over 5k IMO.

I am gonna buy me a new mustang very soon hopefully. Got a loan from parents with no interest.

I don't know what to with with my 87' hatch yet besides store it for a few years.
