I bought me XD from A&P Arms on Mercury Blvd. It was a better price than GB.com You can find deals there, but you have to figure in shipping plus FFL dealer receiving fees when you go to pick it up from a FFL dealer.

Which XD do you have GTsetGo? I have the 40 service and love it.

I have a friend that works at a local gun shop and all i had to pay was the gun cost from the shop in KY and then the $2 fee to do the State Police background check.

Well, I already have a Remington 710 .30-06, so I don't need to have the 700 right now. I want to get the AR-50 next. For under 2k you can have a single shot .50 rifle. Not too bad of a price considering Barretts are so much more expensive. All you need is a lower AR-15 receiver and the Watson's Weapons upper and you have have a .50 rifle.

fuck that its SOOOOOO overpriced for what you get. $1200-1300 fuck that. its no different from a LTR really. same parkerizing, just has a special name, same stock (different color), same barrel, same action and OMG it has a 40X trigger with a 2 peice sear.

buy a 5r milspec for $1000, get a old style R700 trigger and have a smith adjust it, have a smith chop the barrel down to 20" and give you a nice target crown, and duracoat the barreled action. you will be in it about the same ammount of $$ and have a rifle that is SOOOOOOOOO much better.

or just buy a LTR for $900 if you dont mind the chrome moly barrel (liek the XCR-C has)
