that's right: hear me before you can see me. 2 or more of my neighbors have called in noise violations/reckless driving on me and my mustang and the cops came to my house to "warn" me. what fun, eh? i guess the neighborhood soccermoms who walk the block in the morning could hear me coming from across the neighborhood with my long tube headers and off road exhaust... they complained of "reckless driving because it sounded like i was speeding in the neighborhood where kids are" speeding going 20 in a 25? i know i am a target so i make sure to never break any law at any time. the cops warned me and said they will be patrolling my neighborhood and "monitoring me". great, as if i havent been harassed by cops enough as it is. it sucks having a hobby most people dont understand sometimes. but long live my love for the sport and hate for the judge...

The cops around my twon (all 4 of them) included staties and sheriffs around here all no my name because of my car. I had just got done workin on my car and it sitting for a few months took it down the road, to the local gas station. I rolled in and a sheriff rolled in behind me. My bro goes "look" i took my license out at the pump and the cop comes over and says "Hey Ian" lol i have never meet this dude. "Can i see your license" "Those pipes are really loud. (Florida has no emissions and me being in New York with a florida car and just an h-pipe on it haha fuck Ny) He ran my Fl license and said "How long ya been up here" me oh 2 months. "you been here to long, get it changed if you stay"

Not even 10 mins of being out gettin polled by the popo Gotta love them cops, I hear ya man

you should. the cops here dont know me by my name, but they know me as the "kid with the blue mustang". everyone at school knows me and my car and when i get pulled over by a school zone cop (at least once a month for window tint or something miniscule) everyone knows it is me... i will try and not get too upset about the cops "watching me" but they did this "watching" thing last year when some kids on my neighborhood stole beer from the clubhouse and the cops followed me from my house, to school, home, to work, and everywhere i went for 3 months. they dropped the investigation and i know who did the crime, but i had no prior knowledge of the events until afterward. so the cops here can be a harassment to me.

I hear ya man. I just started figurin out whos who and remember the cops that pulled me over so it was always like a reunion lol. See them at gas stations and ask how there night is goin, try to be a smart ass get them to laugh. "Hey man i'll peal out of the parking lot so you can have something to do tonight" that kinda shit. Thats a benfit of bein in a small town right now as well.

haha, if i said that, i could assure the cops here wouldnt laugh with me! i wish i could have a friendly relationship with our local cops, but i have been pulled over by the same cop several times and many different cops as well. there was one period where i got pulled over 3 times in 2 weeks and ended up having to go to court for window tint. maybe as i grow older and i am not seen as "the kid with the blue mustang" tensions will ease and i will earn a little respect. i have yet to have a traffic violation, just misdemeanors- and ive won them all in court without an attorney

I know some of the cops in my area. Mostly for what I'm goin through now with my dad and stuff, but they never pull me. The cop who patrols my parking lot at work monitored me for about 4 months or so waiting for me to peel out so he can take my license. Told the other cops to watch me. I ended up having a cop park next to my car whenever I got off work. Teens with mustangs don't mix with cops too well.

I don't get crap about the sixer much but I get alot of heat for my bronco.(Headers and a cat) That thing is LOUD. They always look and I say "Hey there's a cat underneath my truck" and they always tell me I should get a muffler and I go on my way.

I am on the NNPD black list, atleast for my preceint, I carry their captian's buisness card in my wallet so when i get pulled I can hand it to them with my license..... all it takes is one legitimate IA complaint.

People can complain all they want, unless you are caught in the act it don't mean shit...

the thing about the complaints is that there are 12-13 year old kids riding golf carts in the streets and making a ruckus yelling and racing golf carts, yet the kid in the stang gets the cops called on him. the cop left his business card on my door and a phone number. i called the number and he asked to speak with a parent. i am 17 (no longer a juvenile in traffic court) yet he could not tell me the complaints to my face. that is irresponsible messaging. they should call and leave a message on the phone and have us call back so my parents find out and i find out.

i am not going to drive any differently, just perhaps be pulled over and harassed for the window tint a little more often. it is as if i didnt have a big enough disrespect for authority before yesterday. i hope this doesnt lead to me talking myself into more trouble and smarting off to the cops when i get pulled over. my lack of respect has gotten me in trouble at school before, i just hope i can let this deal pass by without too much effect. all i can do is rock on and enjoy the ride

well man i figure out that if u play it cool with the cops they don`t fu@# with u as much so when ever i get stop i don`t argue with them because if u do u know that u are on the losing end some times i wave at cop cars in my area even if i don`t know them just so they get use to the car sycological war fare but must cops out here mess with the imports more guess they like us muscle

i have been a bit of a smartass. but that started when a black cop in the school zone waved me by and when i accelerated normally, he pulled me over and made me wait 25 minutes while he directed traffic before he approached me. i had places to go and he was wasting my afternoon and my battery was running alone for nearly half an hour so i started my car to run the a/c and music and the cop came running towards me asking if i was trying to flee. he then said i was reckless driving and he could give me assault with a deadly weapon! at 5 mph, i lost total respect for authority that day. i feel as if i even try to be nice to the cops around here, the system beat me. i feel as though i must beat the system and run things my own way when it involves authority.

I remember when I was at the docks around my neighborhood with my girlfriend and I saw two cop cars and decided it was a good idea to leave. So when we were leaving I look over to the one of the cops and smile and the other one that I was closer to I said "Hey, how ya doin?" and Captain dumbass decided to get a little pissy with me. He starts off by saying "What are you doing?" and I still respectfully say "To my car." Now me not bein afraid of him from the get go kinda ticks him off so he goes on with his mini interrogation of me by then asking "Do you live back there?" and I proceed to say "No, but I live about 3 streets that way." I pointed out where I lived to him. So he then says "well then why do you have your car back here?" I'm gettin ticked by all the questions at this point, and I'm stubborn and I don't take anything from anyone and I say in a smartass way "Because I picked up my girlfriend, and I drove over here." Also while he is asking all these questions he is like molesting the straw in his Starbucks cup, and it is really disgusting watching a cop who is licking his straw in a provacative way. Once he realizes that I'm not scared of him and I wont be scared of him he gets really ticked, but decides to end this by sayin "Oh. Well next time mind the private property sign!" Well I will mind the private property sign when the people who live back there mind the private property signs to my neighborhood. They use our streets to get to their houses, but if I'm driving around, and I touch their precious streets I get yelled at by everyone. Anyways when me and my girlfriend are leaving the dude decides to stand infront of my car and act like I'm not there so he blocks my only way out. Once he got out of my way I decided it would be a nice time to say "Just because you have a dick doesn't mean you have to act like one." He didn't hear me though. After some thought I realized that was a good thing. I didn't need Captain dumbass trying to arrest me for something.

i respect the profession, just not the majority of the people who choose it. or it seems like the type of person who repeatedly pulls me over pisses me off. i have been monitored, stopped, harassed, by several county cops on a weekly basis for a period of about 5-6 months. it has since died down since i got my court case dropped charges after standing up to the cop and judge and presenting my exemption (scary moment seeing as how all the prior traffic offenses resulted in suspended lisences and a conviction is a one thousand dollar fine). since then, the monitoring has dropped until my neighbors call the cops and ruin my otherwise awesome life.

time for me to grow up though. i need to be less of a smartass and accept that people will be misunderstanding of my actions and hobbies, and that namecalling and getting too worked up will solve nothing. i am pleased to be learning this somewhat life lesson as i type here instead of the hard way out on the road for reckless driving or something stupid.

i think my turn of thaught struck gold man. i was driving from the lincoln-mercury dealership today with my car and a cop got beside me and i slowed to let him continue on, but he matched my speed of 15 under the limit until we rolled to a red light. he signalled for me to roll down my window, i did. he said, "remember me?" sure enough, the same guy that pulled me over about 6 months ago in the school zone. this guy was nice though. he complimented my car and the work ive done to it then drove off. i was shocked but happy. what a great turn of events man. i feel so good now lol

thats cool man some cops are fu@# up but some are cool and i understang that they have a hard job to do i know i get stress out some times to so if u get some asshold cop don`t think they are all the same
hope u got ure problems resolved with them well i got to go i met these shick the other day and she is fined as hell and she is into cars :award
