I don't think they have too much bass. has a volume control on them and I usually keep it bout midway. I hear the music great, fit great, great price, and have had them over a year w/ no prob. My mom even got some and shes damn near a midget so she gots tiny ears, she loves them and they fit great for her too.

bose has always had top of the line quality sound. i recently picked up some fancy sony pair from best buy that sound damn good. mdr-as40ex yea their nice.

dennis, i have the same pair of sony, and they are great, but you should try the bose in earbuds, omg..... no comparison. i use my sony all the damn time though when im wokring out and mowing and stuff
