screw xbox 360

damnit I try to get on and see who is on and the damn thing freezes up and makes a loud noise. Turn it off and then on again and i get 3 red lights on the main button. Go to xbox.com and find out that it means i have a hardware failure and have to send it back to microsoft, thank god they extended the warrenty for a year on these things cause mine expires in march. Fucking microsoft.

yeah today mine fell over and scratched the hell out of my test drive game. It wouldnt read in the tray, so i put peanut butter on it and it actually then worked. Whats ur gamertag by the way?

but yeah ive always heard that if you keep it in the vertical position then you are alot more likely to have problems like that..

my gamertag is the same as my username on here, that and i keep my in the vertical position cause the fan stand i got has to be upright so the fan can keep it cool

The fanstand sucks! Get an intercooler. It works in any position and doesnt tie up your usb ports. As for the 3 red lights, I had em twice on mine and oside from being told that I was responsible for shipping costs on the second time, all was smooth. Both times they replaced the console and both times the warranty period restarted.

I repair 360s for a living, they are cake to fix the 3 red lights. I also mod them as well.

so... what you guys are saying is that xbox 360's are unreliable pieces of junk?? i was thinking about getting one.. cuz i have ps2.. but i want something new.. what would you guys suggest?? i don't really play games that much.. just racing games really.. but i want it just to have it.. you know... entertainment for a rainy day.. or for the boys.. lol

I might not know much about car modding yet, but i know everything when it comes to gaming systems. The ps3 is the biggest piece of trash since the second one came out. There is nothing good on it, video quality has been proven by many companies to be far worse than the 360, and look at their sales, xbox 360 was sold out till end of january, the ps3 didnt even sell out till end of december!

MY main reason for what? I doesnt matter about price, look at the performance of the ps3, its terrible for how much time they had to release it. It is only worth about 200$ retail with the graphics it has.

lol what ever you say fanboy. You honestly have no idea how to tell if graphics are better, so let me point it out. The shading on the 360 is great, the ps3, not so great. Testing the FPS on each system, the 360 runs at a constant FPS of about 280-300. Ps3 runs at a staggering 190 fps tops 250.

A guy who even developed the ps3 said the 360 was better. You can find this and many other articles showing the 360 handing sonys ass to them with some xbox 360 gift cards here!
