XTCNAGT did it to his new edge and it came out great. Shoot him a PM and I'm sure he will be more than happy to answer any questions.

This is how mine turned out...
It looks a LOT brighter than it actually was. Since I took the pictures after sundown, I guess the camera amplified the amount of light, but they still looked good.

Here you go guys... Autolumination Instrument Panel Light Bulbs & Lamps) That's where you get the bulbs. First section, the Tri-LEDs #74. Takes 5 or 6, I can't really remember. When you put them in, the bulbs are polarized, so if you have a dark spot, you'll have to flip a bulb or 2 around. Keep in mind that since they're the TRI-LED's, the area that is dark, might not be the bulb in that area. I had a dark spot on the right side of my cluster, and it ended up being one near my speedo. Just put them em, and check them. If there's dark spots, just start at one end, flip one around, try again. If it's worse, flip it back and move to the next one. The picture also shows a couple "hot spots" where it looks a lot brighter, but again, I think it was the camera. I didn't notice anything like that driving around. There was a write-up I did for it when I first joined here, but it's probably buried deep in the catacombs of MM by now, so if you need anything, just let me know. |
