This isnt as bad as the guy who was trying to weld his spider guys off what some guys where telling him and went and welded his ring gear instead... Anyone know where that link is?

I know a guy who had a volkswagen (the old aircooled type) someone told him (jokingly) his radiator was low on water. What did he do? The dumb shit stuck a water hose in the oil fill neck and filled it with water.

That fucker sounded like a washing machine when it was running. Needless to say, his engine was screwed. One new engine later, he realized it was aircooled and didn't need any water.

We had I guy come in, when I was stilling working at Toyota, with a van that had 32K miles on it. Someone told him that because the system is "sealed" that he really didn't need to change some of the fluids. He thought that means the oil too. 32K miles on the same oil. I have never seen more sludge in my life. The motor was a total loss. We still don't know how he made it there. I will give Toyota credit for being tough cars.

It just goes to show that someone people should just not have a car if they don't know anything about how to take care of it.
