Newspaper ads

They have gotten cheap! 5 years back when we were runningads, they were about $450. I just put an ad in the Herald that will run for 6 weeks and reach 1.5 million hands for $75. Not bad at all!!!! Cheaper than yellow pages or anything else. We'll see what the response rate is....that is the tell all. One sale will pay for the ad and then some so all Im looking for is one order to pay off.

I was happy to see the prices have gotten really low. I guess its a sign of the economy.

Hey Hatch, If I make you a sign, will you go stand on a corner with it for me? LOL!

I see that down here alot. I always wondered what they get paid to stand there and hold a sign all day. The other day it was really windy and this asshat was fighting with his sign that said " Get a FREE cone with any purchase"....and he was in a ice cream cone suit.

Newspapers around here have really gone down... they have gotten sloppier in the delivery process and also have lost a lot of business, and they have laid off lots of people.

Not nearly as many people read them as they used to... you can get online and find just as much info for free. Only thing about newspapers is if you live in a small town, you get more local info.
