Models, no not those

Just finished these things. Not too bad if I do say so myself. Can't tell you how many of these I've done to keep me occupied until I find a real one to cruise in. Painted the wheels using a toothpick and it was my first run using clear coat on a model.

Opinions?

1970 Boss 302 and an S197 Shelby-H (I left all of the gold stripes off cause, yeah, bleh on gold)

They look good. How did you paint the big pieces? I used to use a brush but the lines show through.

Model Master paints from Testors. They are original automotive paint reproductions. They come in aerosol spray cans with enough to do about one complete model and a few touch up sprays if you get some orange peel in it and need to sand. The clear coat was a biatch.

i don't have the commitment to build model cars. i always paint one completely then give up, or build them without paint

your's look great though

Fantastic! Those look tough. I used to build models when I was younger. Mostly aircraft though. The best part is you will have had them a few months by the time 4th of July hits. M-80's and Silver Salutes will fit in the just nice! I loved blowing up my models. Pour some gasoline on them and let em burn! Take some video!!!!
