Possible project?

Well, as many of you know, I've been looking for somewhat of a project car. I want a 5.0 hatch, and here's something I've found that seems to be most promising:

1988 Mustang LX 5.0 5 speed project !

Here's what it is:
5.0 Hatch, 5- speed. Gun metal gray.

Work needed:
Transmission needed adjusted (not sure what that means, someone help me out? Something I'd pay someone to do I'm sure)
Bumper, passenger quarter, and door need replaced (he has replacements, but they needed to be painted to match, again, pay to get that done, but can put them on myself)
Weatherstripping (do myself)
Headliner needs replaced (do myself)

He has it listed for $1,500, I'm hoping I can talk him down to $1,000-1,200, and hoping it doesnt sell in the next month, as I need to save.

Needless to say at the moment this is like a dream, not a reality. But I think if I acquire this sometime late-May-Junish, I could have the majority of the word I need done by the end of summertime.

Thoughts? Feelings?

So I reread the emails, and its a "clutch adjustment" what could that be?

Say I needed a whole new clutch? I wouldn't be able to do it myself (would I)? And how big of a headache would it be?

the clutch isn't all the hard, best bet is get a haynes manual and you'll be able to do it..nothing horribly complicated...just get a friend to help you out when taking the transmission down.
