I like Honda. I just think they think to much of them. They are a bit pricey.

Yeah Acura's are on the high end...But IMHO what you get is pretty worth it...

I told her to keep her current car but that was not going to happen so I said at least get a fun car...Well that is what she did...

If I have to buy a new car and wanted it for luxury I would prolly grab an Acura...They hold their value very well...

nice looking car chris. The fiance and I are going to get a Honda Pilot when the 08's start coming out. She drives a 85 accord right now with 150,000 miles on it and it runs like it is brand new with no work ever done to it.

Out of the choices you put up here, I would personally want the TSX.

Yeah, i figure that we can sell it to some highschool kid that wants to rice it up for about $3000. That should make the start of a nice downpayment for the new car.

The TSX is a slower less optioned TL...

But it is cheaper...

Im glad she chose the TL Type-S...It will be quite the quick little grocery getter...

lol it sure will....hell, I use my Mustang to get to work and back in the summer, and that's 220 miles one way, twice a week. Makes a hell of a commuter car.

Damn, too late to the party, else I would've suggested she look at a Subaru Outback VSC. Sure, it's a wagon, but it's hard to argue with AWD, 255+ hp, rally-spec stability control, and a nicer interior than a cadillac to boot.. That thing is waaaytofast for what it is. After driving the LLBean edition (one step down, just doesn't have the uber-spec stability control), I'd go so far to say that it's every bit as fast as the Cobra for most driving.

But, I know, I know, "it's a grandma car!"...

I love the TLs. I have ridden in several and they are well built, nicely appointed cars with some pretty good zip. I don't think you would be disappointed.

Becuase the RSX Type-S is a waste of space IMHO...

Its too small...Not as much power...Not even in the class with the TL...

Acura RSX Type-S - 201hp/140tq / Car Weighs: 2734 lbs (Manual Bare Bones) - $23,845
Acura Tl Type-S - 286hp/256tq / Car Weighs: 3674 lbs (Loaded Auto) - 36,000

With the power and comfort the TL is the only way to go...The only thing better is the RL...But the RL is out of our price range RIGHT NOW...Plus the resale on the TL destroys the RSX's resale...

Oh and our TL is black with the same rims that are on the blue car...

Acura TL Type-S FTW!!!
