Insurance

Who do you guys use? and how much is your insurance every month?

I use State Farm, I have a $500 deductible under my own name with full coverage. 121.16 a month with renters insurance included.

But this is on the Civic, I'd like to see what some of you youngin's are paying for your V6 and V8s.

I used Acceptance for a while as they were the only one's who'd insure me with 2 tickets. Now, I've switched to progressive and save $100 a month!

Well, I'm not switching from State Farm. I've had them since I was 16 and they've always taken care of me. I wrecked my parents Geo (which was technically mine in their name) and they cut me a check for 1100 for it.

My insurance never went up because of my tickets or accidents. In fact, all my insurance has ever done is gone down for each car.

They paid off my loan with a lower rate ergo saving me 55/month on my carpayment, paid off my credit card with half the interest rate, saving me thousands, and did what I asked while giving me full understanding of the consequences when trying to lower my insurance. They saved me another 50 a month by doing that.

I just wanted to know what kind of rates everyone was getting. I know age/marrital status, state and carrier will make it different though.

when i had my 2000 GT i paid i think 380.00 a month for 9 months out of the year. that was through an ins. broker. now my project 92 LX i payed 300.00 for the 6 months through progressive. so i guess 50.00 a month. and thats just liability coverage. i forget how much my other stangs were for ins. and im almost 23. doesnt ins. go down at age 23?

Now I have 2 mustags Fiero Bronco, Cheby P/U, and a boat insured for $1200 a year. And the 1989 Mustang is apraised and insured for $30,000.

Well so far I am paying the most. I'm 17 $2200 every 6 months. . Over $420 a month. Thats the cheapest rate. With all state, progressive, or geico they all said it would be over $3000 every 6 months. I haven't had any tickets, and I have a drivers ed discount...wtf? It's full coverage on a new v6.I'm getting royally screwed on insurance but theres nothing I can do about it.

damn thats alot. for my 2000 GT it was like 3400 for the year cause i payed 9 months out of the year and then had 3 months off and that was under my parents policy. since your 17 you obviously couldnt financed it by your self for your 05 V6. and you cant be on your own policy. is there anyway you can just be insured as a driver and your parents be the primary driver. when i dint have my own car when i was 16 and 17 it was like 100 bux a month.
