Getting out of the mustang scene....

Hello everyone, I've decided to let my mustang go. I guess my main concern is the lack of power and the poor handling. I've read all you guys post on PI swaps but couldn't justify cost for the amount of power gain. I owned an 1986 GT back in the day and it was plenty fast with only a few basic mods. I honestly thought something was wrong with my car but everything checked out. I pretty much have it sold to a young kid in Toledo OH. I hope he takes care of it and possibly do the PI swap.

Here is my new car. Its a 1998 BMW 540I/6. It has a 4.4 8 cylinder with a 6 speed manual trans. This thing hauls major A$$ and handles like a dream. This car out performs my mustang like it aint even funny. The torq is unreal. It even has power sun shades in the rear lol.
The mustang was a sure attention grabber but I was very selective on who I'd mess with on the streets.

damn man, your mustang looked pretty damn sweet too... yeah the lack of power sucks i raced a 540 once and as soon as i hit mid 2nd gear, he was gone... i was like wtf?! damn, yeah good luck with your new BMW man. it looks clean, damn, if you dont post on here anymore, im def gonna miss your avatar lol thats nice hahah but yeah good bye and good luck with your new car.

I totally understand your handling gripes, man.

Good luck with the Bimmer; personally, I prefer the 3-series over the 5, but the 540i is a fantastic machine.

I actually lost racing my wife in here 328i auto lol! Straight 6.

Shoulda got a Cobra

96-98 GTs are the slowest V8 stangs I've ever driven besides the pre EFI(86) foxes.

I hear ya and that 540 will be lots of fun. No worries mate, cars are cars.

i dislike e39s, except for the e39 m5. they look fugly to me

If i were to get an 540i/6 it would definitely be an e34

That is a nice e34. If I were to drop, add a light body kit and throw on some nice wheels, I'm sure mine would look a lot better than it's stock form. Google a stock e34 and you'll see what I mean. I have a clean canvas to start with, who knows how it will look next summer.......
