Florida was a part of the confederacy.
However, I don't understand why you would get your rocks off looking at a confederate flag in someone elses truck. I'll be honest, I'm probably the countriest fucker in the state of FL (mostly because you displaced Yankees wouldn't know the country if I dropped you off there) and I am very proud of my ancestory and heritage. Having said that, I don't see any reason to go around purposefully stirring up a bunch of shit over something that you have no knowledge of. Please enlighten my ignorant ass....

My view of Yankees? You really read into that one way too far.

My view of Yankees is great. Some of my closest friends are self admitted Yankees and I would give them the shirt off my back. However, to advertise that you are something that you are not in the name of fueling hatred between different races and creeds is slightly insane in my opinion. That Rebel flag has zero to do with what true "country people" stand for.
