UPS... revisited

UPS was kind enough to throw another package on my porch and leave it yesterday... as usual. This package in particular was a pair of shoes. A replacement for a pair of shoes I ordered last week that aren't made anymore. Unfortunately, the replacement wasn't the same. All because UPS left the previous package on the porch last week and the box was stolen.

So, now I'm waiting for them to deliver a camera I ordered last week. I really wish I wasn't stuck using UPS when I order things sometimes.

Thankfully, the company I ordered the shoes from last week are refunding me. They shouldn't have to. UPS should be doing that. But oh well.

My skin is peeling from that sunburn I got on Saturday.

Hey, at least I got some color : D

I heard UPS changed its name to "unqualified pieces of shit" can anyone verify?

LMAO, that fricking funny. Reps to you sir.

I guess I'm lucky with my UPS driver. When I am expecting a package, I leave one of my shop doors open and he will leave it inside the shop so no one can see the intriguing box. Keeps an honest man honest anyhow.

I always liked "United Pot Smokers" cause some of the things they do make you really question their sobriety...

I know not all of the drivers are bad... but I've had problems with them in every state I've lived in... even when the package requires a signature, they'll still leave it on the porch. I've ordered guitars through ebay before and spent over $1k on 'em... only to be left on the porch in the sun.

Really pisses me off.

In all honesty though, would you rather it be in a box, in the sun. Or "carefully handled" by the UPS drivers and loaders?

You should have seen the condition of the box my supercharger was in.

Both the sun and UPS employees are equally dangerous and can cause severe sunburns

Yeah, I used to work for a UPS store.. UPS sucks. But FedEx also sucks. DHL was awesome but they don't care about America any more apparently.

this is why whenever I order something expensive the day they say that it will be there I used to request 2 days off so that I can be there. One day for the day that it is supposed to be there and the other day for the day that it actually arrives

Well I wont be complaining about UPS but just USPS pissed me off. Sent my mortgage check 2 weeks ago and never got to the mortgage company. Then I had to cancel the check ($30) and pay the bill on-line ($6). So I am out $36 because I wanted to pay my bills on time and USPS are the ones who screwed up

My camera arrived : D

The driver threw it on the ground. I opened the door and flipped on him. It was a wonderous experience. But, the camera was thankfully packed well and sustained no damage from said UPS driver ass hole on his cell phone.

The thought of throwing a beating on him followed by blunt force trauma to the skull and groinular region did cross my mind... but I don't want to go to prison for murder : (

I'm just going to make sure to use other carriers for my things. Never had a problem with USPS, FedEx or DHL. In fact, DHL (although I've used them once) made it a point to stick around and asked me to open the package in front of him so he could see it was undamaged in transit. That's pretty damned good customer service.

Of course, he probably did that because so many people filed claims of damage.... hmmmmm. Either way, I'm just glad I got the camera. Can't wait to mess with it. Slow motion video mwahahahaha.
