Saleen Focus?!?!?!

I didn't know that these existed until I saw one today. I about swerved off the road when I saw the guy fly by me. It had a huge rear bumper that said Saleen on it just like the stangs. It looked awful IMO.

Yeah, the Saleen N20 Focus... It's got everythign for nitrous set up from the factory, I believe all you have to do is hook up a bottle.

Saleen did Explorers back in the day, too.

the saleen N20 is badass. there were only about 200 built if i'm not mistaken. saw one at a dealership brand new quite a few years ago. revdex is correct too. it is completely setup and tuned for nitrous from the factory. all you have to do is buy the bottle (it's not included for obvious reasons) and you're ready to roll.

i know a guy with a saleen focus. he wont put the spray on it. Scared of it because it still under warranty and if you hook it up warranty goes bye bye.........its sat on the lot for years because nobody would buy it. Hell it don't even have the SVT focus motor in it, just a plain, basic focus engine.

i have to disagree with the "bad ass" part. It is slow as fuck and annoying. yeah, the fact it comes ready to spray might be bad ass, but even with spray it would be slow.

250 spraying MAYBE. that car makes nowhere NEAR 250 horses, no way, no how. A good friend of mine owns one, and YES I have rode in it. Hell an SVT focus dont make 250 hp.

ok that is a little more believable. I still doubt it. I seriously doubt this car makes 120 to the wheels on motor. Does anyone have the specs on a stock focus?? (dyno not advertised) because thats what it is, there is nothing really done to the saleen engine. Alot of the saleen and other focus guys upgrade to the SVT focus engine for its strength. Regardless, it was suprisingly slow as fuck. Cool concept with the spray though, I will give them that. Wish they would do that with a mustang lol

IIRC, the stock SVT Focus is ~180hp at the crank (I'd guess 160 at the wheels), I'd guess a 2.0 Focus is probably around 150 or so? I'm guessing that these cars are old enough they didn't run the 2.3L
