In my quest for t top parts i came across this. 1983-86 Ford Mustang GT Conv T-Top Passenger Side Door:eBay Motors (item 120306856345 end time Jun-14-09 10:39:22 PDT) I was looking at dash bezels they had. I sent them a message just letting them know that t top glass and regulators are not the same as vert and this is what he sends back.


Hi- Read the listing.... The actual item for sale is the DOOR... NOT the door glass OR the window regulator... and heads up to you... this door IS the same exact shell that Ford used on BOTH styles of the GT Mustangs, T-Top AND Convertible . We simply leave the accessory items inside the door shell that we send out as a courtesy to our valued customers. Sure, we could remove them, and sell them separately, and make even more $$ but we actually think that is rude. (By the way, please remember that things like glass & regulators can always be changed to suit the needs of the individual.) We also leave the door harness intact to try to reduce the "brain surgery" of trying to splice things together with door installation. Unlike some freakin' yahoo who runs over to the local junkyard & rips a part and props it up in his driveway and pops a photo of it and throws it up on ebay trying to make a quick buck, we are actually Mustang professionals. What a A HOLE i am not going to buy anything from them now if they are going to talk to potential customers that way then imagen what they would do when something came broke or wrong. Just a heads up i would not deal with them.

Dude, you probably should really consider seeing a pro about your anger isses.. over time they can make a person get sick.. otherwise.. jeez man, just drop it already & move on! Life is short & there is no need to be so damn negative! Please don't bother wasting time by emailing any more. We are happy to sell lots of quality used mustang parts to our many satisfied customers. FYI - Life is not a popularity contest and we know that not everyone will always like us or agree with us & that is fine. i must be missing something. what did he say that offended you so badly? what did your email say to him?

if that single email caused you to post up on multiple sites telling people not to buy from them, then i think you need to re-read it. i can't believe there are so many people who are saying they will tell everybody they know not to buy from prestige due to that email. it looks to me that he pointed out the facts to you and it somehow offended you.

i'm not trying to be an asshole here, but can you post the email you sent him? can you also highlight the part of his email that made you so mad?

I don't have what i sent him but i sent him a messsage on e bay. I was asking him if he had any fender extensions for my 86 gt. I asked him this through his $399 t top door auction. I pointed out that a t top door and a convertible door are not the same. I told him this so if he sold a convertible door to a t top guy he would not get bad feedback. He replied with that and did not even answer if he had the extensions. He just went off like a tool.
Where did he piss me off? I guess it started with Hi- Read the listing.... I read it i just didn't read between the lines.
