Fine, I will give y'all a rundown in a nutshell.

The way I am related to the person in the article (Errika Romero) is my sudo-sibling because I have been dating her sister for two years now and I have become really close to the family.

When Errika was about 6 years old her parents were off and on and after about a year of the father not only cheating on the mother multiple times, but being abusive to the mother and BOTH daughters (mentally and physically) they got a divorce. Over the years the father has not only not been their for the daughters, but has done as much as he could to negatively impact the lives of the family while still staying off the radar, he is a passive aggressive person. There is also a small son who is about 9 years old now, who the mother and the father have shared custody. He hates going to the fathers and hates even being around him.

The father is terribly rich, and will take the mother to court (knowing full well that he will lose the case) just to cost the mother court fee's because he knows she cant afford it. He uses this as a form of blackmail, getting just about anything he wants from her with the threat of taking her to court again. In fact, because this article has "angered" him he is taking her to court again later this year.

The man is obsessed with his public image, and when he realized that his daughter was going to be the valedictorian of one of the most prestigious 5A schools in the state, and that she got a full ride to Cal Tech, he suddenly wanted to become a "father" and be part of her life, just to say he had something to do with it. He hardly ever pays child support for the two daughters that he lost custody of, and doesn't give a cent to Bianca (my girlfriend) who is attending Texas A&M. She has scholarships and all but not a full ride, and is having to take out loans.

Now where the article comes in. Like I stated above, he is obsessed with this public image, and when the article came out, it basically ruined his chances of looking good to the public. He got some of his family and friends to go on the website, and act like it was all a lie, and that this was only the one side. That is why it was out of line, frankly... he is damn lucky they didn't tell the "full story."

Again this is all in a "nutshell" but what it all boils down to is the man is a bastard, and really needs to stay out of the families life.

You have no idea the situation at hand (hence why I originally didn't really want to go into detail) and therefore have no right to come off spouting comments like that. None of us are "butt hurt" from it. All the comments are simply doing are trying to save-face for the father who in no way deserves it. I am going to do anything in my power to keep the man from building any since of false security (lack of a better word because I am in a rush writing this) for his past actions. While it may not be much, it's something.

Oh how I would love to.....But as I said above he is rich and likes to sue...He would destroy me in the long run.

And its not so much me it's effecting or that I am aiming to effect.. I am trying to keep him from any "save-face" actions. Kinda hard to understand I could assume, just try to think about it.
