New iPhone

i had tmobile. hated them. if i wasn't by a major highway, i didn't get signal. same with the BS ntellos that my company has for our work cell phones. talk about crap. if i have the phone between my legs (i know i know, you pervs), it goes straight to voicemail. didn't know i had lead in my balls.

i have a storm through verizon and have never had a problem, always have coverage.

My wife wants to switch from Sprint to ATT for the iPhone. Wish I could get the iPhone through Sprint

pretty easy to unlock im not sure sprint can carry it though. Ive had my 3G since the day the came out. I jailbroke close to 2 weeks after that through some crazy dos prompt thing before winpwn, and quickpwn. I must say the iphone is not worth having without it being jailbroken. Did you see tethering isnt availible in the US lol pdanet has been out forever. And MMS in late summer??? Swirly MMS has been out for jailbroken phones a few weeks after release. Almost everything they released is out already. I wont be getting one until my contract is up..and even then i think ill be switching to tmobile after having to deal with ATT for 2 years.

I would say wait till your contract is up(if you weren't), and then get one. It is worth it in my mind. I complain a lot about mine, but overall its been the best phone i've had. I use it for everything.

swirly mms lets you picture message. its a jailbroken app. I think to get it to work you cant have the unlimited text plan from att though.

I don't text. I use that cool feature that transmits live sound and voice feed to another phone.

Say what you will, but I find it odd how some people can spend 20 minutes texting back and forth with someone when a 1 minute phone call would have been sufficient.

im still amazed by the fact that people worship a phone that has been out for 3 years and does not even do the simple things a 5 year old motorola razr can do lol. iphone is god. no i cant send picture text unless i hack the phone and instal 3rd party software, no i cant video record anything unless i buy a new one comming out soon. but hey the iphone is god lol.

My original Razr V3 could send picture text, video messages, connect to the computer, and act as a modem for the computer so I could get internet anywhere I had a phone signal. This is all from a phone that's 5 years old. But the advanced and "revolutionary" iPhone doesn't do this.

its crazzy. makes you wonder would people buy the iphone if it was the exact same thing only without the i or apple name. "you too can own the most revolutionary phone on the market today. no it does not do half the stuff your current old phone does but its made by apple".

I believe it's such a huge success for the same reason everything else Apple is a success.....Nice looking exterior and GUI. Not to mention it was one of the first phones to be 100% touchscreen.
