New iPhone

And a few other things. I won't be waiting in line for a spiffy new iphone, but, at least 3.0 firmware will be out soon. AT&T can chew my ballsnuts with their plan to hold off on allowing picture text. Pricks. I'm sure they're trying to decide how much more they're going to charge consumers for that service. Anyone else finding this news absolutely exciting and gasm inducing? Me, not so much. I won't be waiting in line overnight for a new piece of hardware that does almost exactly what mine is capable of. I think they need to allow the iphone on other carriers. While I enjoy what I have, the limitation of being stuck with one carrier (beside the obvious jailbreak and yell0wsnow crack) sucks. I hate the proprietary mindset at times.

so let me get this straight you pay close to 100 bucks a month for a phone and your not allowed to do the same picture texting anyone else can do? yea iphone ftw

yeah, pretty much. Not paying much more than what my plan for tmobile was though. And I have a hell of a lot more features available.
I don't pay for many minutes though. I ironically hardly use my phone for phone calls. I believe I have somewhere around 5,000 or more rollover minutes. Kinda sad : D On a happy note, picture text should be available in the next couple months

yea i have employee plan with tmo so we wont discuss what all i get and what i pay lol. it just makes people cry.
last month i think i used 50 minutes on my plan and around 800 text. i hate talking on a phone thats why i love my qwerty keyboard

Like not having picture text is the be all end all. You can still send pics via email on the iPhone. & I'm pretty sure everyone that uses picture text also has an email addy.
The iPhone rocks all other phones. Actually I concider it a mini computer that also doubles as a phone. |

I send mabey 100 texts a month now. And I use my phone to talk to my parents like every other day.
After I moved away it seems like all my friends back home forgot about me Most wont even return text messages or will and you can tell they dont wanna talk. So eh whatever. But I got like 7000 rollover minutes. To bad they dont go to credit on your acount

you can run a un-locked iphone on tmo just fine. they even have a iphone feature for it lol

I may switch back over when my contract is up then. I had tmobile for 5 years. They never gave me any problems
