mercury capri forum on this site

we should have a section for foxbody capri's and if any one trys any crap with those little mazda looking gay capri delete them and ban them.
there are alot of cool looking capri's especially when you put mustang parts on them

they look pretty cool. so you can buy stang parts for the capri and put them on. i wouldnt mind one of them. defenatley dont see em every day

yea a section would be good if we got some members that actually had them... until then i dont think it would get any traffic

when i had a capri i put the mustang quarter windows in but i had to drill an extra stud hole in the car and i found that the cowl vents are not interchangable. The capri is actually a mexican mustang I like the how the sides come out it like a mild wide body kit, and the open grill has more of a muscle car look.

So is the MustangII but its still a Mustang. The Capri is kinda like the Mustangs gay cousin or something.

the mercury cougars are pretty cool too. we just dont have the member base for that range of vehicles to have their own subforum quite yet.

thats what got me started on mustangs my dad had an 82 capri when i was younger had a 302 and a 4 speed it was the coolest thing in the world to me. black and green with rear louver. sweet

they probably don't even know about the racing history of the car. Jack Roush totally raped the Trans-Am series in 1984
winning 11 out of 16 races with the Capri and did a repeat in 1985 winning 12 out of 15 races.

When I used the term "gay cousin" I wasnt saying that the cars are gay. All I meant was that they are kinda like the gay cousin that doesnt get talked about much or invited to the family reunions. IMO the Capri is just a fox bodied sang with a makeover. About the same difference as between a thunderbird and a cougar. Anyways, no foul intended.
