Need help asap.

I put the new springs on last night but CAN NOT find a shop to put on the CC plates today and I'm leaving to go out of town tomorrow. I'm driving about 1200 miles tomorrow...

My question is, would it be ok to get the cc plates put on once I get to the place I'm going? There is no way I can leave later in the day tomorrow or anything like that. The one shop that actually gave me a quote today said $326 which was just rediculous. One shop quoted me $170 but couldn't do it today.

So, will I be ok to make the drive tomorrow or am I screwed.

Put them on yourself then take it to get aligned... I wouldnt drive you car that car on a fucked alignment cause you will ruin your tires.

My camber is 3 degees to the neg my fronts wear out very quickly......like 6k miles

Looks like your gonna have to pay up to get it done. Better safe than sorry, you don't wanna be driving and have something awful happen to your tires at 70+mph. that could be deadly.. ( honestly)

Pay the shop that said 326... you dont have much of a choice in the matter now.

Well its to late now to have the shop that would do it, do it. And I don't have that much cash anyways. The quote shouldn't be that high.

They should only cost $100 to install.

Tires for those fronts would only be $90 a piece anyways.

As long as you check your tires out you won't have a problem they will simple wear faster

I dont know... 2400 miles round trip is alot of miles to put on misaligned tires.

I'd only put 1200 miles on the tires...haha. I can get it aligned once I get to North Augusta.

Whatever you say man... Its all about supply and demand man. Its something you need done and they are the only ones that can do it, you dont have much of a choice in what you pay, now do you? If you are going to drive you car like this, then I would recomend when you get there to rotate your tires ( from front to back ) that way you dont put all that excessive wear on just two of them.
